This was a part of a prototype build for a robotic knee surgery system called VELYS (link to website at the end). I completed the work in 2019 while freelancing for JNJ. The system consists of a robotic arm with a bone saw, and two carts. These were some plug concepts for one of the carts. I was asked to use some remote control LEDs so that the plug receptacles could light up and have different colors.
My plug design concepts didn't end up in the final system, but it was a fun prototype piece to make.
